Open Water Course Information
Start your diving adventure with the Open Water Diver Course at Bezz Diving in Malta – the ideal starting point for beginner divers. Discover the amazing amazing blue sea around Malta with visibility up to 40m, while acquiring the skills to dive all over the world up to a depth of 18 meters.
This comprehensive dive course is broken up into three essential parts: engaging digital theory, confined water dives to learn basic scuba skills, and four open water dives at our beginner-friendly dive sites around the Maltese Islands. We guarantee small groups and the best choice of dive sites.
If you’ve tried diving through a Discover Scuba Diving experience, the skills you learned may be credited towards a portion of the full SSI Open Water Diver course certification.
SSI Accredited Courses
For the 2026 season we will be teaching SSI courses only. This certification is recognized worldwide and at the end of the course you will be certified to dive to 18m max with a buddy anywhere in the world.
For e-learning access, we would also like you to open an SSI account please and affiliate to Bezz Diving as a dive centre in Malta. You can either download the mySSI app on a smartphone or register through www.divessi.com . Please choose Bezz Diving as your dive center and once its done, please let us know so we’ll give you access to the e-learning
